Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Customer service/Export Logistics Coordinator to manage export shipments and related documentation. This is an exciting opportunity to work with global distributors and support efficient international supply chain operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Arrange export shipments for distributors/customers, including drop and export shipments from YASC.
• Prepare and handle commercial documentation, including invoices, delivery orders, and shipping documents, using in-house systems (RPMS).
• Coordinate shipment and cargo collection with the warehouse team.
• Prepare necessary shipment certificates such as SMF, COO, and COQ.
• Manage Letters of Credit and coordinate submission to banks.
• Liaise with external vendors, including freight forwarders, clearing houses, and delivery contractors.
• Process manual purchase orders and shipping instructions for vendors in Japan, America, Europe, China, Indonesia, Thailand, and India.
• Negotiate delivery rates and contracts to optimize costs and efficiency.
• Plan and monitor inbound shipments from overseas and local suppliers.
• Investigate claims regarding shortages, mis-supply, or defective parts with warehouse personnel.
• Track and monitor loading/unloading costs and prepare necessary reports.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum Nitec or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in shipping or export logistics.
• Skills: Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills.

Additional Information

• Salary: Up to $3,200 basic + AWS + variable bonus.
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm.
• Location: 4 Tuas Lane, Singapore 638613.
• Transport: Company transport provided to/from Pioneer, Choa Chu Kang, Potong Pasir, and Yew Tee MRTs.

Responsibilities:

• Cost Tracking and Analysis: Monitor project, operations, and logistics costs to ensure alignment with stakeholders.
  Analyze monthly costs, comparing actuals to budgets, and identify trends to aid decision-making.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Work with teams to support forecasting and develop cost-effective budgets.
  Prepare accurate cost forecasts to assist with financial planning.
• Reporting: Provide regular reports on costs, budgets, and variances to maintain transparency.
  Create detailed expenditure reports to support cost management efforts.
• Project Cost Management: Track project-specific costs to ensure spending stays within budget and aligns with goals.
  Conduct spot checks on cargo and post-project reviews to address overspending.
• Invoicing and Records Management: Generate and process invoices, maintaining accurate records of contracts, sales, and services.
  Update accounts receivable (AR) records and ensure timely invoicing.
  Organize invoices for easy access and retrieval.
• Customer Service and Issue Resolution: Handle customer inquiries and resolve disputes related to invoices or incorrect charges.
  Work with finance, operations, and customer care teams to address issues and improve satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Positive attitude, self-motivated, and dependable.
• 1–3 years of experience in cost analysis, budgeting, or financial management.
• Skilled at handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Working Hours: 5 days work week (Mon-Fri, 8.30am-5.30pm)

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload goods while following safety protocols.
• Assist with receiving, sorting, and storing goods to maintain accurate inventory.
• Pick, pack, and label items for delivery, ensuring accuracy and on-time dispatch.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized, and perform routine equipment checks.
• Follow safety regulations, company procedures, and WSH guidelines, including participating in safety drills.
• Handle inventory tasks such as receiving, releasing, packing, unpacking, and storing stock.
• Manage stock levels using proper inventory methods in a timely manner.
• Take on additional tasks as needed, including housekeeping, maintenance, and technical work.

Requirements:

• Physically fit and able to handle the job's physical demands, including working long hours under the sun.
• Good team player.
• Willing to learn and work overtime when needed (overtime pay provided).
• Must have a valid Class 3 driving license.
• Forklift license is a plus.

5.5 days work week, OT provided.

Jobs Scope:

• Ensure timely and accurate ocean freight movement while adhering to service standards and local regulations.
• Manage communication with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding shipments.
• Address service issues proactively by providing follow-up and problem resolution for customers.
• Generate invoices and verify shipment-related charges within KPI timelines.
• Participate in projects focused on improving internal and external business processes.
• Perform tasks that add value to customer operations and adapt to process changes.
• Ensure customs declarations comply with Singapore regulations and procedures.
• Create and manage documentation for ocean exports.
• Oversee a team and ensure efficient execution of shipments according to ISO procedures.
• Maintain timely responses to customer inquiries and ensure proper documentation in the Transport Management System (TMS).

Requirement:

• Nitec and above.
• Minimum 1-4 years of working experience in the sea freight industry
