About the role

Our client is a Fortune 500 Logistics MNC with presence in over 25 countries. Singapore is the headquarter and they are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join the team in supporting the regional operations.

About the job

This role will report to the HR Manager based in Singapore. Working closely with the business stakeholders, you will:

• Manage end-to-end HR activities including talent acquisition, onboarding and offboarding, performance management and employer branding
• Drive talent acquisition efforts and build a steady talent pipeline for the region
• Point of contact to employees and external vendors for all HR matters
• Develop and implement HR policies and programmes in alignment to business objectives and local legislation
• Support other HR initiatives

Skills and experience required

• Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ of HR experience
• Strong communication skills and relationship management
• Solid knowledge of local labor legislation and practices of Singapore
• Independent and self-motivated
• Collaborative and a team player

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, and other relevant paperwork on a daily basis.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all shipping documents to comply with industry regulations and company standards.
• Ensure accuracy in payment and billing operations.
• Maintain an organized and efficient document control system for easy retrieval and reference.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and shipping arrangements with suppliers, customers and service providers to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
• Monitor all shipments and track their progress to ensure on-time deliveries to customers.
• Communicate with suppliers, customers, and service providers for any discrepancies and claims.
• Handle any unexpected delays or issues in shipping and work proactively to find solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum Diploma holder in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with INCO terms will be a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems will be a plus.
