Main Responsibilities:

As part of the Singapore Freight Commercial Handysize team, you will be the Freight Trader for the Far East region, with responsibilities across pricing, positioning, business development and contract execution. This role involves interaction with both internal and external cargo customers, whilst also commercially manages the period fleet, optimizing the regional program. 1) Pricing of Freight and Rate Negotiation:

• Use the price forecast as the basis for generating firm freight rates to provide to internal commodity traders for completion of CNF sales and market research as well as for the basis of external trading on cargoes, contracts and period vessels

2) Position Management:

4) Freight Contract Execution:

• Actively manage the interface between the relevant branches and subsidiaries of Bank of China Group and the customer to close those transactions identified from the above.

Requirements:

• Thorough understanding of the aviation industry and their relevant requirements, particuarly in those groups identified as Target Customers.
• Detailed knowledge of the existing Bank of China and BOC Aviation products and how to promote them to the Target Customers.
• Minimally 8 years of experience in the aviation and/or finance industry.
