Job Description:
The candidate will be responsible to perform vehicle repair work outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance to Ferrari standards.
Possess the ability to diagnose cause of malfunction and execute repair work to meet customer promised time.
Job Requirement:
- Minimum NTC 2/NITEC in Automotive with least 3 years of experience in automotive and/or luxury brand
- Knowledge of troubleshooting/repair techniques in Ferrari/other Luxury brands or Supercars will be added advantage
- Proficient in MS office and MODIS procedures will be a plus
- Proficiency in PDI and technical assistance procedure (Escalation of tech request to factory whenever required)
- Knowledge of repair techniques / also for older cars
- Basic writing skills (to record work performed and recommended future service requirements on Repair Orders
- Sound knowledge of vehicle electronic components, theory, systems and testing tools and procedures
- Skilled in diagnosis and repair all key vehicle systems and components
- Knowledge of the proper procedures for handling hazardous materials, using tools & equipment
- Knowledge of the proper procedures for ensuring the Technician’s own safety, the safety of his or her co-workers, and the safety of customers and their vehicles
- Ability to read and interpret Repair Order to execute repair work independently
- Basic customer communication skills in event of customer contact
- Fixing vehicles right the first time
- Test driving vehicles, if necessary, to verify customer complaints (For candidates with prior relevant experience)
- The ideal candidate should ensure that repair tasks are completed and delivery deadlines are met. The Technician is required to maintain a current knowledge of all vehicles and their service needs as described in manuals, technical bulletins, and training programs.
