Responsibilities:

• Issuing, sending of PO via email and keep track of PO for procurement activities.
• Liaising with store to monitor stock inventories required by Operations Unit is in place to avoid any potential material shortage
• Liaising with plant for their requirements.
• Maintain an updated list of current and incoming inventory
• Liaising/correspondence with suppliers to schedule deliveries or to discuss shortages or missed deliveries
• Continuously sourcing of parts/materials as and when required
• Performing Goods received and updating of system
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other necessary data
• Co-ordinating with forwarder for preparing of documents/permit for incoming shipment clearance
• Continuously liaising with Sales and other departments for their new requirement of material/parts
• To negotiable and obtain best price quotes from suppliers based on various PR request within the company
• Deals with defective goods damaged goods as and when required
• Performing monthly stock take
• General Admin Duties
• Any other ad hoc jobs assigned

Reporting to Distribution Operations Team Lead, you will be part of the team within Distribution Services Department responsible to handle operations related matters for multi distribution channels excluding Bancassurance.

Responsibilities

• Providing operational support in the areas of Offboarding and Distributors Records Management.
• Becoming the subject matter expert to handle enquiries on Agency Rules on Offboarding, orphan policy assignment, debt recovery, and Rep’s Records.
• Prepare and review appeals within stated limits.
• Work with IT & various stakeholders to ensure that related system enhancements are completed.
• Regularly review efficiency and effectiveness of operations processes and policies.
• Regularly review and implement guideline of business rules on distribution operations.
• Improve and enhance on communication to Financial Representatives related to operation processes.
• Conduct quality checks to comply with regulatory and audit sampling checks.
• Prepare/review summary reports/ presentation materials for management reporting.
• Support in operations projects and/or future way of working tasks as and when assigned: You will have the opportunity to work on business process improvement initiatives using future skills such as process simplifications, digitalization, analytics, agile project management, human-centered design/ user journey mapping.

• Diploma or Degree
• Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in life insurance industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint; MS Power BI (preferred)
• Good business analysis skills
