The Digital Supply Chain Assistant reports to the Director, as the essential point of contact between the existing & potential customers and our China purchasing team. This position will have complete training & guidance, a competitive salary, and better promotional possibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the maintenance of digital supply chain tools -- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
2. Collect, clean, and organize supply chain data for analysis and reporting, and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
3. Coordinate with logistics providers to optimize shipping schedules, and ensure all transactions and records are updated.
4. Identify opportunities to enhance supply chain processes, stay updated on trends and advancements in digital supply chain management.
5. Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
Job Requirements:
1. Strong interpersonal skills
2. Basic knowledge of supply chain processes and operations.
3. Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to work.
4. Maturity, confidence, and patience are vital attributes.
5. Fluency in Chinese is highly valued, as our purchasing team is based in China.
6. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
