We are looking for a dedicated individual to perform the role of Freight Solutions Adviser in our Freight Department.
As a Freight Solutions Adviser, you will be accountable for providing and maintaining a high level of customer service, delivery and service for Qantas and Jetstar Freight. This position works closely with the Sales team and is accountable for maintaining close working relationships with key clients, flight reservations and flight planning, maintaining shipment reports, operations, tracking and tracing activities and ensuring the smooth handling of cargo claims. This role is also responsible for basic accounts and invoice management.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following skills & experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably working in the aviation industry and in air freight forwarding or a related logistics role.
- Experience and comfort working within a dynamic and fast paced team environment
- Must be able to think clearly, creatively and work independently under pressure, whilst being an effective team member.
- Ability to think differently and to challenge the norm with an open and innovative mindset
- Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
- Self-motivation, be adaptable, flexible and agile
- A continuous improvement focus with desire to take on new challenges
- Exceptional communication skills, ability to play a strong support role with internal and external stakeholders
