Position details:
Reporting to the Operations Lead (Crude, Heavies & LPG), the Scheduler, LPG will be responsible for all aspects of scheduling commercial liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) operations within Asia. This role will involve contributing to the business bottom-line by striving for operations excellence to ensure the business is a high-performance work unit.
Primary Function/ Responsibilities:
- Execute all waterborne movements and deliveries according to Sales and Purchase contracts
- Nominate & declare cargo and date range to counterparties per contract GTC
- Responsible for scheduling & optimizations by keeping a close monitoring of vessel berthing program, product qualities and quantities and resolving any significant discrepancies promptly
- Perform LPG Freight verification, rebill deviation freight, and follow through all operations cost claims.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and facilitate month-end trading inventory reporting
- Work with global LPG operations team, Loss Control, Marine and traders to resolve critical operational issues
- Perform cargo nomination, ticketing and operation inputs into SAP for daily P&L tool accurately and timely
- Execute timely nomination of inspector into Navarik
- Ensure compliance of Imports/Exports and product stewardship
- Cultivate and maintain good rapport with industry people and share market intelligence
Education, Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in LPG scheduling, global waterborne cargo operations
- Good knowledge and understanding of LPG operations and markets
- Previous experience in scheduling waterborne movements within the Asia Pacific region, cross region large cargo movement, and managing terminal inventories
- Knowledge of CFR GINGA LPG GTC, LPG terminals in Asia
- Strong analytical and advanced computer spread sheet skills
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work constructively in a fast-changing work environment
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Results-oriented with the ability to think and act decisively and independently under situations and changes, often at all hours of the day and during weekends/ holidays
