OVERVIEW

The role of a driver in DAC is to provide safe driving and high standard of safety and care for staff and clients. The driver is also required to assist the DAC’s general office in documents despatch services, logistical transportation and other general works support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Transport Assignments which includes:

a) Co-ordinate with the DAC general office on transportation assignments on a daily/weekly basis and carry out the assignments by driving assigned vehicle(s);

• Execution of additional project-specific technical requirements promptly
• Execute technical modifications for the project, including their approval and certifications as necessary.
• Attend to technical troubles arising during the project and liaise with the makers if required.
• Plan and coordinate technical repairs during the project, including vessel docking as necessary.
• Ensure any defects that may affect the charter are resolved promptly.
• Participate in interviews and makes recommendations regarding new-hires and promotions.
• Monitor vessel performance and ensure follow up action.
• Management of vessel budgets and operating expenditure
• Plan for, monitor, and manage dry-dockings and major scheduled and unscheduled repairs.
• Conduct regular vessel visits to confirm condition and compliance with Company operating standards and provide Vessel Condition Reports.
• Create a partnership with the other departments (HSQE, crewing, operations, etc.) assigned to the same vessels.

Qualifications:

• 6 months experience as Chief Engineer or experience for more than 3 years as senior engineer on LNG Motor vessels.
• Valid Engine COC holder
• Knowledge of ISM, EMS,PMS, Repairs and Dry-Docking repairs
• Good technical knowledge about various marine machinery
• A desire to drive continuous improvement in self and with others.
• Analytical, problem solving, time management, project management and decision-making skills
• Ability to respond positively to Company management in an effective manner
• Demonstrates teamwork, interpersonal and communications skills
• Knowledge of propulsion plant and power systems onboard assigned vessels. Preferable working experience with XDF vessels and overhauling skills of an XDF Engine and DF generators.
• Knowledge of cargo containment system, cargo handling equipment and systems on board assigned vessels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical decarbonization studies for all RES projects including costs impact estimation.
• Experience to employ carbon reducing technologies efficiently on large-scale buildings, both new builds and retrofitting
• Calculates initial cost and payback period for carbon reducing investments
• Responsible for completing and submitting BCA Template and for explaining cost benefits to the review board.
• Implements requirements to achieve various energy & sustainability certifications and manages certification process.
• Knowledge of solar PV, air and ground source heat pumps, wind turbines, heat regeneration, and other energy saving technologies
• Knowledge and experience with energy modeling
• Knowledge of “fabric first” envelope analysis

Requirements

• Fluent in English
• University engineering degree (Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical); Masters preferred
• Certification or accreditation in one or more sustainable programs
• Minimum 8 years of experience

Responsibilities:

• Operate transportation vehicle

• Collect and deliver cargo from/to island wide locations
• Assist teams in relocation activities
• Liaise with end users for delivery details
