Key Responsibilities:
1. Driving: Safely operate lorries to transport goods between locations while adhering to local traffic laws and regulations.
2. Delivery and Pick-up: deliver the order to the outlets within specified timeframes, ensuring the integrity of the goods during transit, and pick up the dispatch bag from the outlet if any
3. Route Planning: Plan optimal delivery routes considering factors like distance, traffic conditions, and delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
4. Handling: Properly load, secure, and unload materials to prevent damage during transportation, following established safety and handling procedures.
5. Vehicle Inspection: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the lorry to identify and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly.
6. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and fuel levels, and promptly report any maintenance needs to appropriate personnel.
7. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including trip details, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents encountered during transportation.
8. Safety Compliance: Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring proper load securing practices.
