• Responsible for graphic design related to company products and brand promotion, including but not limited to creative design and execution of main visual elements, H5, poster topics, etc.
• Brand expansion design.
• Keep up with design trends, able to conceive and propose diversified design solutions.
• Lead the definition of visual language and establish visual standards.
• Familiar with web design, able to independently design iterations for the web according to design specifications.

Job Requirements:

• Proficient in common design tools, with certain illustration drawing abilities, and a certain understanding of post-processing and motion design (with design portfolio attached).
• Proficient in shaping brand texture, able to focus on and apply the latest design trends and styles.
• Excellent sense of responsibility and communication skills, with a certain ability to withstand pressure, able to drive the implementation of design solutions.

Who we are

The Government Technology Agency (GovTech) seeks to transform the delivery of Government Digital Services by taking an "outside-in" view, putting citizens and businesses at the heart of everything we do.

What you will be working on:

As a UX Designer, you will work in a Government Agency as a key member of the GovTech team. You will support the Chief Information Officer at the Agency, working with Agency stakeholders to undertake UX tasks in upstream Discovery and Conceptualisation, as well as Product Development and Delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

• Consult with stakeholders to understand goals and challenges and propose user-centric approaches to improving products and services to citizens, businesses and public officers.
• Drive user research activities through co-creation workshops, focus group discussions, stakeholder interviews, surveys, and translate research findings into actionable recommendations.
• Create and rapidly iterate on ideas to develop storyboards, user flows, mock-ups, and prototypes, or other methods as needed to prove concepts and demonstrate value.
• Align with corporate design systems and incorporate usability and good customer experience into products and services.

This will involve having good interpersonal and problem solving skills, a sharp analytical mind, and astute design judgment. You will work closely with Product Owners, business analysts, architects and software engineers to continuously design and deliver features for transforming citizen experience and improving agency efficiency.

What we are looking for:

• Degree or Diploma in Human Computer Interactions, Design, Psychology, Computer Sciences or related disciplines
• Minimum 4 years of UX experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates your experience in service design, design research, interaction design and product strategy.
• Team player, with experience working collaboratively in a cross-functional team
• Good organisational, presentation, and critical thinking skills
• Expertise with popular design tools and software e.g. Figma, Balsamiq, Axure, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience in Agile and UX development environments and frontend development/web development technologies such as HTML/HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Responsive Web Design will be an added advantage.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience building and shipping multiple features that are broad/ambiguous in scope and encompass an end-to-end experience across a variety of platforms
• 2+ years of interaction design experience with willingness to define how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs, plus consideration of how this innovation will scale
• 2+ years of visual design experience with proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography and aesthetic sense and how these elements impact product function
• 2+ years of strategic product thinking with experience developing product goals, identify opportunities, and make decisions based on the impact to people and the company
• Experience in representing work to a broader product team and other leaders, clearly and succinctly articulating the goals and concepts

Our work ranges from advertising, packaging, corporate design/identity, digital marketing (email, social media, display) to fully customised projects. Our clients are leaders in their respective fields: global research, travel and tourism, investment, luxury home lifestyle, and enterprise technology such as cybersecurity, cloud and data storage.

We are looking for a Graphic Designer who lives and breathes design and has strong aesthetic skills with graphic design principles and knowledge.

As a Graphic Designer, you will work on projects that require art direction, graphic design (printed & digital collaterals), storyboarding, and animation. No two projects are the same.

Work with creative leads, copywriters and other team members to develop engaging creatives and design for a variety of projects, supporting various business units and assignments.

Create:

• Visualise, plan, and execute graphics from initial concept to finished artwork to meet client specifications and goals.
• Create new as well as repurpose visual content. Design and produce final artwork in a variety of media.
• Strong aesthetic skills and knowledge of graphic design principles.

Conserve:

• Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and brand consistency throughout the project.
• Agency deadlines and design standards.

Curious:

• Keep up with advances in new technologies and techniques and explore new design ideas to stay current on new channels and trends.
• Contribute to learning and process improvements across the organisation.
• Continuously push creative boundaries.
