The Technical Designer is part of the design team from the beginning and assists in making sure the design intent from concept is carried out in the detailing stage. He/She will be supporting the designer in selection of materials and systems,further the design resolution of details, specification reviews and/or writing, local building code compliance and analysis of the same in the International Building Code as requested by the project/client/operator; ultimately responsibility is in the quality control review of project documents. The Technical Designer supports the preparation of detailed drawings and tender documents. The position has experience in design development, architectural CAD and Revit documentation and drafting, and detailing.
