The role

You will have a front row seat in impacting women across the globe through our design. You will be responsible for managing the creation for all Love, Bonito’s collections, seeing the collections through from initial researching, sketching and tech packs to the finished product. As a close partner to Product and Engineering, Coinbase Design team plays a critical role in executing on the company vision. We take on hard user experience problems to deliver delightful and easy-to-use products from very complex technical challenges. You'll help design our flagship products for the largest user base in crypto and define user experiences for entirely new features that the ecosystem has not seen before.

You’ll design the following as a part of your role:

• Product Improvements - One of the key levers we have at our disposal to grow our user base in key markets is to improve our product to make it the easiest to use in each market. Key areas of product improvement include:

- Localization - regularly checking our products for correct translations and areas that could benefit from better localization. Recommending areas that could be better improved to fit with cultural context. Our product should feel local in each of our markets.

-Onboarding - Each country has specific onboarding requirements, you will be working closely with the onboarding team to ensure that the best UX is provided to users whilst being compliant with local requirements.

• Market research / Analysis - Helping the research team and country pod to conduct a holistic analysis of competitive dynamics in the market. Helping to run regular user testing and research sessions, documenting results and outlining opportunities presented. Having a deep understanding of Coinbase metrics within the region.
• Legal / Regulatory - Assisting the team in building out a compliant yet delightful experience. Regulation can change quickly and the appropriate candidate needs to be capable of producing well crafted solutions in a short space of time.

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

• Work in a small team to iteratively improve the user experience.
• Take new features from ideation, to prototyping, to user testing, to production.
• Design web and mobile experiences that are simple and intuitive.
• Participate in regular design reviews where you’ll seek out specific feedback on your designs and incorporate relevant feedback.
• Execute on the product roadmap and help define product strategy.
• Daily collaboration with Engineering, User Research, and Product.
