• Space Planning: Maximize the use of space and functionality while adhering to building codes and safety standards. Create layouts that optimize the flow and aesthetic of the space.
• Presentation & Communication: Present design ideas and concepts to clients using visuals, 3D renderings, and physical samples. Communicate design decisions effectively and address any client concerns.
• Budget Management: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-efficiency without compromising design quality.
• Collaboration: Work with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure designs are implemented according to specifications.
• Post-Project Follow-up: Ensure client satisfaction after project completion and address any adjustments or modifications needed.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience as an Interior Designer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of design principles, color theory, space planning, and architecture.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Certification in Interior Design (NCIDQ or equivalent) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with sustainable design practices.
