1. Responsible for layout of SA periodicals and publicity materials as approved by the Editor.

1. Design posters and promotional pamphlets for special events and outsource for multimedia presentations as required by Territorial Leaders in English, Mandarin, Tamil and occasionally Burmese and Thai.

1. Work closely with requestors and be able to conceptualise the requirement to deliver the desired output as approved by the Editor.

1. Competent in using designing software.

1. Responsible for photography at SA events upon request (including Sunday worship services as requested).

1. File selected overseas publications and oversight management of photo library

1. Responsible for layout of books published by the Territory.

1. Knowledgeable and updated on the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and ensure compliance at both individual and service providers level.

1. Attend the bi-monthly Communication Committee Meeting as a Minutes Secretary

1. Source information as requested by the Editor, including the investigation of upgrading office equipment as required.

1. In the absence of the Editor attend to general enquiries by the public regarding SA publications; deal with general correspondence related to publications after discussion with the Editor.

1. Participate in weekly departmental prayers and weekly THQ prayers.

1. Assist the Secretary for Programme / Editor / Line Manager in any editorial-related assignments.

1. Respond when called upon to support and represent the department with non-literature matters, such as counting of money, THQ special events or others.

• Diploma in Graphic Design or equivalent

Purpose:To assist in the EICT design activities by preparing and reviewing design deliverables under the supervision of the project EICT Lead Designer. The role is focused on ensuring that EICT design deliverables are completed in line with contractual requirements, ensuring quality, and meeting project timelines.

Responsibilities:

• Engineering Drawings Preparation:Prepare a complete set of engineering drawings that include multiple views, details, and assembly, utilizing AutoCAD.
  Ensure that drawings are comprehensive and accurate, following company and industry standards.
  
• Design Deliverables Accuracy:Review and ensure the accuracy of design deliverables, including those from subcontractors, before issuing them to the site.
  Ensure deliverables are issued on time, and work to minimize errors or delays.
  
• Material Take-Off (MTO) Management:Issue RFQ/PR (Request for Quotation/Purchase Request) in SAP for Bulk MTO (Material Take-Off) and manage the MTO process effectively.
  Track and ensure materials and equipment needed for the project are ordered and delivered as per the project schedule.
  
• 3D Model Review & Feedback:Participate in 3D model reviews and provide feedback related to EICT design to the engineering contractor.
  Ensure design integrity and alignment with the project’s specifications through active review of the 3D models.
  
• AVEVA Software Utilization:Implement and review the design in AVEVA Electrical & Instrumentation to ensure the database is updated correctly and applicable drawings are extracted.
  Ensure consistency and accuracy in the design database and provide ongoing updates as required.
  
• EICT Interface Coordination:Review all design-related information and identify Tie-in points related to EICT interfaces to ensure smooth integration with other systems and equipment.
  
• Design Query Resolution:Support the EICT Lead Designer in resolving design queries from various yards and other stakeholders within the required schedule and timeframe.
  
• Engineering Design Meetings:Attend meetings with engineering contractors to discuss detailed modeling, design, and drawing preparation based on basic designs/drawings.
  Provide feedback and assist in the refinement of designs to meet project requirements.
  
• Drawing & Design Standards:Under general supervision, follow prevailing engineering design procedures, standards, and codes.
  Prepare complex engineering and technical drawings, and in some cases, generate original designs for layouts and equipment arrangements that support engineering planning, design, and construction.
  

Requirements:

• Education:A degree or diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, or Telecommunication Engineering (or a related field).
  
• Experience:Proven experience in design support roles within EICT, preferably in offshore or oil and gas projects.
  Familiarity with AutoCAD for generating engineering drawings and AVEVA Electrical & Instrumentation for design and database management.
  
• Technical Skills:Solid understanding of EICT design principles, equipment, and integration.
  Experience with SAP for issuing RFQs and managing MTOs.
  Knowledge of engineering codes and standards for EICT systems.
  
• Software Proficiency:Proficiency in AutoCAD for engineering drawing preparation.
  Experience in AVEVA Electrical & Instrumentation or similar design software.
  
• Communication Skills:Ability to attend and contribute to technical meetings, resolving issues and providing feedback on designs.
