We are starting the decommissioning of one of our Murex trading platform for our Bonds business activity to our main front office target platform (Orchestrade). Orchestrade is already implemented for other asset classes.

Position

The department is responsible for development and maintenance of Capital Market IT applications (in-house and package) used worldwide, covering Front Office (Murex, Apex, Orchestrade…), Back Office (Summit, Calypso…), Market data referential (Asset Control..), Market Risk (in-house application on big data technologies).

The Foreign Exchange (FX) IT division, works across the full value chain to sustain business activity and enable its acceleration.

This role aims to develop on the Calypso back office package, in project mode as well as maintenance, and to support the “run the bank” function. It requires a deep understanding of the nature of business operations, timing of activities & data flowing through internal and external systems. The build and support team continuously works with business users, infrastructure engineers and system managers.

Main responsibilities

• Build & change management

- Develop in JAVA for Calypso v14.4 package.

- Develop internal components.

• Incidents and Requests management (business users and other IT teams)

- Communicate effectively.

- Analyse enhancement requests and bug-fixes.

- Document deliveries.

• Change Management

- Apply monthly release strategy, following the team’s milestones for analysis, coding and testing.

- Support the release roadmap in production.

- Operations management

- Application support, level 3 (expert).

- Troubleshoot and fix issues.

• Continuous improvement

- Process improvements.

- Coach more junior team members as required.

• Research, design, and develop software.
• Analyse user needs and develop software solutions
• Update software, enhances existing software capabilities, and develops and direct software testing and validation procedures.
• Work with other engineers to integrate hardware and/or software systems
• Develop specifications and performance requirements.

Qualifications and Profile

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Calypso developer.
• Excellent understanding of Java, PL/SQL & Linux.
• Experience on Calypso versions higher than v13.
• Expertise in Calypso Back office functionality with hands-on experience in customizations of different Calypso modules:

- Custom Remote Services

- Engines

- Events

- Filters

- Reporting Framework

- ScheduledTask

- Message / Swift messages

- Transfers

- Settlement Delivery Instructions

- Accounting

- Pricers

- Workflows

- Reconciliation functionalities

• In depth knowledge of Confirmations, Settlement, Position and Accounting modules.
• Understanding of financial assets (repos, bonds, SLB, issuances) and trade lifecycle.
• Experience with regulatory reporting HRF, NORIA, MMSR.
• Experience in interfacing Calypso with external systems.
• Hands-on experience in implementation projects.
• AGILE track record.
• Experience in GIT, MasterDeploy, SVN, JENKINS, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Dababase: Oracle, Sybase.
• Experience in implementing NR scenarios.
• Developing Micro services.
• Curiosity for new technologies.
• Willing to do L3 Support if required.

Working Hours

• Work in shift for ASIA (9:00am – 6:30pm SGT) or (11am – 8pm SGT).
• Special week-end operations if required for projects.

Senior Geospatial Solutions Developer

Senior Geospatial Solutions Developer is required to possess a strong background in the design and development of end-to-end geospatial solutions systems, software engineering, image processing and data analytics. The incumbent is expected to design, develop, and deploy geospatial analytics solutions on image processing, data engineering and analytics to generate insights from large volumes of data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including business development, sales and marketing to deliver innovative solutions that drive our business forward.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in entire product life cycle, including defining product vision, market survey, product positioning in market, understanding/addressing customer pain points, implementation roadmap, engineering and development to ensure successful product implementation.
• Design end-to-end geospatial solutions systems and cloud-based deployment of geospatial analytics software.
• Lead and develop analytics solutions for maritime/agriculture/sustainability end use applications leveraging on multi-modal data sources e.g. multispectral, SAR imagery, textual data and computer vision, AI/ML technologies.
• Develop advanced satellite ground segment and ground station concepts to manage and monitor satellite constellation and schedule resources of a network of ground stations to support satellite constellation operations.
• Satellite system engineering and development such as AIT and AOCS.
• Work with business development and sales teams to develop comprehensive geospatial products roadmap.
• Provide pre and post sales technical support.

Job Requirements

• Strong in Satellite/ Geospatial Data.
• At least 5 years of Geospatial / Satellite System and imaging product experience.
• Proficient in remote sensing techniques, Geospatial Information System processing system, SAR principles, interferometry, polarimetry processing and applications.
• Knowledge in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Good in imaging satellite systems and imaging products.
• Proficient in NodeJS, Python, TypeScript programming and experience with libraries such as OpenCV and TensorFlow, PyTorch or similar.
• Proficient in frontend frameworks e.g. React, Angular, Bootstrap and in developing backend services using Restful APIs.
• Proficient with any RDBMS or Non-SQL DB – e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Experience with Git, containerisation and software development workflow.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and development on cloud would be an advantage.
