We are supplying, fabricating and installation of structural steel. They have been in business for many years and due to a large increase are now looking for a structural steel drafter
Software used is TEKLA Structures or AUTOCAD software.
The right candidate will be able to understand and read engineering drawings will have experience working on residential projects for steel erection and or Industrial, commercial.
Responsibilities :-
- Ability to interpret architectural / engineers documents and translate those requirements to detailed drawings
- A sound knowledge of the building / commercial and industrial practices is essential
- Cad ( Version 2000 or better ) knowledge of Tekla Structures software.
- Detailing of connections for beams, columns, bracing and other steel elements and determine belting
- Sound knowledge of requirement of steel erector’s requirements for layout details
- Produce detailed product listings and spreadsheets within Tekla Structures
- Describe weld types and procedures and apply weld symbols on drawings
Requirements :-
- Proven work experience as a Drafter or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with TEKLA structures & AUTOCAD software.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
