[What you will be working on]
- Able to teach the following subjects: Business Fundamentals, Business Economics, Quantitative Methods, Data Visualisation and Analysis in the School of Engineering
- Teach, facilitate, and monitor students’ learning and other relevant academic duties
- Incorporate active learning strategies from industry practices into subjects and programs
- Plan, manage and execute various projects/events/activities for overall student development
- Plan and manage learning programs, e.g. TP Fundamentals, Leadership training, Guided learning
- Conduct workshops/training to develop student leaders and class representatives
- Support and supervise school-wide activities, e.g., Orientation, CCAs, Open House, Inter-school events and competitions
- Promote community service and service learning
- Market and publicize student development activities to students and alumni
- Maintain relationships between alumni and school
- Coordinate with various student Interest Groups
- Advise and mentor student clubs
- Connect with industry partners and governmental organizations on Education and Career Guidance
- Connect and collaborate with overseas industry partners and educational institutions to plan and lead overseas trips
- Travel with students for overseas trips occasionally (2-3 weeks each trip)
- Perform administrative duties, i.e. prepare proposals, manage procurement for small value purchases, invitation to quote, and invitation to tender
[What we are looking for]
- Minimum 3 years of working experience with prior experiences in academic and student support, preferably in the educational sector or a training institution.
- A self-starter who believes in developing students to their fullest potential.
- Strong interest in student development and be able to develop own professional competencies in Teaching & Learning.
- Knowledge in the administration of an educational institute.
- Strong organizational skills and project management experience.
- Eager to work collaboratively in multiple subject and project teams.
- Able to work after office hours or weekends when required.
