Your Role:
Tenable has an immediate need for a Customer Success Manager who will be responsible for establishing and driving sales activities for our software products within a designated geography.Companies today are grappling with an ever expanding IT landscape encompassing tradition IT devices and modern assets such as IoT, DevOps and operational technology. In this era, it is more important than ever before for
companies to have visibility of their attack surface and the vulnerabilities therein.Tenable’s vision is to help our customers develop this visibility and manage their Cyber Exposure; significantly improving their IT security.Your role will involve working with designated existing customers to guide them towards a more secure Cyber Exposure practice and as a result ensure value for existing revenue and uncover opportunities for further expansion inTenable’s services
Your Opportunity:
- Collaborate with customers to define improvements in their IT security roadmap in a consultative manner.
- Meet Quarterly & Annual Revenue Targets, including renewals,upselling, and cross-selling.
- Drive revenue growth by prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing deals within existing enterprise client accounts.
- Regularly provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts.
- Nurture client relationships throughout the entire sales cycle, offering consultative solutions to enhance customers' security practices,particularly in IT vulnerability management.Conduct both individual and group sales presentations.
- Offer account management services within a designated territory.Maintain diligent records of customer information, forecasts, and reports.
- Develop and update prospect and customer lists using strategic marketing data and other sources for sales leads.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Channel teams to plan and strategize marketing activities for end users and channels.
What you will need:
- Must have experience selling On-Demand, SaaS (Software as a Service) solution or subscription based product to a diverse customer base..
- BA/BS degree and 7+ years of sales experience focused on growing existing business or new business.
- Large account management or project management experience
- Proven track record for closing large and mid-size companies
- Ability to adapt, overcome objections, and learn complex solutions.Strong time management skills
- Create new business opportunities through in-depth conversations and relationship building.Proven track record of growing business from an established client base.
- Consistent and documented track record for achieving monthly/quarterly/annual target metrics
- Strong oral and written communication skills are a must
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment with revenue deadlines
- Working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com
