JOB PURPOSE
An important member of the dynamic Resource Development (RD) Team, you will plan, organise and execute fundraising events. You will work closely with the Section Head and HoD, and share collective responsibilities in meeting the fundraising objectives, by maximising the opportunities from the fundraising events and community fundraisers The role provides an opportunity for someone who aspires to build a career in the Social Service sector by gaining fundraising skills and perspectives.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
● Execute signature fundraising events from start to end, including event management, administrative, logistics, donor communications and marketing support etc. The events include but are not limited to the Grateful Hearts Day (World Red Cross Day), International Bazaar, Charity Concert, Charity Golf, Benefit Gala, and community-led fundraising events.
● Engage and liaise with the internal and external stakeholders including fundraisers, organisers, volunteers, donors and sponsors to ensure the smooth running and execution of the event. (May be asked to work weekends when necessary)
● Identify, nurture and support new and existing partners / community-led fundraisers (individuals & corporate) and third party fundraisers to organise fundraising events and campaigns (i.e. as the liaison for supporters holding events)
● Any other matters as assigned by the HoD and Section Head of the Resource Development
JOB SPECIFICATION
Qualifications:
● Diploma or Degree in related field
● Fresh graduates or graduating students are welcomed to apply
