Job Summary:
The FX eSolution Specialist is responsible for implementing and supporting electronic trading solutions for foreign exchange products. This role involves a deep understanding of electronic trading platforms, client onboarding, technical support, and continuous improvement of the FX trading processes to enhance efficiency and client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electronic Trading Platform Management: Manage and maintain electronic trading platforms for FX products, ensuring they are operational, up-to-date, and meeting regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Client Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for clients onto electronic trading platforms, guiding them through the setup and providing training on platform functionalities.
- Technical Support: Offer technical assistance and troubleshooting to clients and internal stakeholders regarding electronic trading platforms, addressing issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
- Product Development: Collaborate with the technology and development teams to contribute to the enhancement and development of electronic trading solutions, incorporating feedback from clients and industry best practices.
- Market Connectivity: Establish and maintain connections with liquidity providers, ECNs (Electronic Communication Networks), and other market participants to ensure seamless access to FX markets.
- Risk Management: Monitor and manage potential risks related to electronic trading platforms, including latency, connectivity, and cyber threats, implementing necessary controls and protocols.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends and evolving technologies in the FX electronic trading space, and provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their inquiries, understanding their needs, and providing proactive solutions to enhance their trading experience.
- Training and Education: Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients and internal teams to enhance their understanding of electronic trading platforms and optimize their utilization.
- Compliance and Regulation: Ensure that all electronic trading activities comply with relevant regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze the performance metrics and usage data of electronic trading platforms to identify areas for improvement and optimize platform performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, computer science, or a related field. Additional certifications or qualifications in finance or technology may be beneficial.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in electronic FX trading, eFX platform management, or a related role within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of FX markets, trading instruments, and electronic trading platforms.
- Technical proficiency in electronic trading systems, FIX (Financial Information Exchange) protocol, and market connectivity technologies.
- Familiarity with various FX trading algorithms and execution strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
