Responsibilities
- Manage purchasing and inventory management operations
- Supervise and oversee procurement & purchasing team to ensure daily smooth operations
- Lead the negotiation on contracts and supply related matters
- Oversee the suppliers' performance and contract management
- Oversee the sourcing & development of new vendors, supply & production sources
- Constant review existing planning, purchasing & inventory management processes & procedures and suggest improvement measures
- Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) projects
- Ensure compliance with company standards and regulations
- Ad hoc duties/ projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management or equivalent
- At least 8 - 10 years of procurement & inventory management experience, preferably from EMS/ Electronics Manufacturing industry
- Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, Kanban, Kaizen standards
