Role Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Data-Driven Financial Analyst to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing complex financial data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive strategic financial decisions. As a Data-Driven Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data analytics to optimize financial processes, enhance business performance, and support overall company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Collect and analyze financial data using advanced data analysis tools and techniques.
- Identify trends, patterns, and outliers in financial data sets.
- Interpret data and translate findings into meaningful business insights.
Financial Modeling:
- Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making processes.
- Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess potential financial outcomes.
Performance Reporting:
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and dashboards for management review.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to measure business performance.
- Provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders regarding financial performance.
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning initiatives.
- Contribute insights derived from data analysis to aid in strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the development and evaluation of business strategies and initiatives.
Data Management:
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency in financial databases.
- Work closely with IT and data teams to optimize data collection and reporting processes.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in data analytics tools and techniques.
SAP Implementation:
- Support team leads in SAP adoption and system implementation
- Ensure data movement and upkeep is accurate
Accounting:
- Support Finance Department in accounts reconciliation and other payment activities as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Proven experience in financial analysis and data interpretation.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or similar (training & courses can be undertaken)
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
