POSITION: ENGINEERING SPECIALIST
(ASSEMBLY – LINE OPERATION)
REPORTS TO:
Superior / Head of Department
AUTHORITY: Subordinate Staff; Quality Objectives of company/department and such other workers as may be assigned by the Superior / Head of Department.
Promotion: Senior Engineering Specialist / Engineering Assistant and Above.
Responsibilities: To improve manufacturing methods and maintain assembly systems.
DUTIES:
1) Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities
2) Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
3) Initiate, plan and participate actively in equipment modifications and projects improvement for quality, productivity and cost reduction.
4) Develop new ideas or revise current practices for a more efficient operation that continues to produce the highest quality products
5) Develop and maintain programmes for automated production equipment and provide training to operators if necessary
6) Prepare audit work papers and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy and other administrative duties as assigned
7) Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
8) Additional responsibilities as assigned by one’s supervisor or other manager related to the position/department
REQUIREMENT:
candidates must have a local Singapore Government Polytechnic Diploma in Engineering,
specialising in Precision Engineering / Mechanical / Mechantronics / EEE.
WORKING HOURS:
Morning Shift: 7am to 3pm
Noon Shift: 3pm to 11pm (Shift Allowance: $8.50/Day)
Night Shift: 11pm to 7am (Shift Allowance: $14/Day)
For Heat Treatment Department, the shift rotation will be on a weekly basis while in Assembly Department, it will be on a monthly basis.
Candidates who cannot work all three rotating shifts must, at a minimum, be able to work in a rotating morning and noon shift.
We offer full attendance bonus of $40 per month.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Basic salary: $2300 - $2400
