JOB PURPOSE

  • Deliver and conduct all assigned courses, talks and assessments in accordance to the training schedule and standards.
  • Undertake classroom management as an instructor; ensuring training room, logistics and cleanliness of rooms before the start of every class and end of every class.
  • Report any malfunction or lost training equipment timely and accurately.
  • Performs Customer Relationship Management by interacting with our existing and potential learners by establishing a delightful experience.
  • Project Manager for CFALS run-organised events.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Operations

1.1. Conduct all assigned courses in accordance with the training schedule.

1.2. Assist in the successful renewal of all accreditations.

1.3. Assist in the management of all associate instructors’ development.

1.4. Assist in the overall instructors’ assignment & schedule.

1.5. Assist in volunteer trainer management.


2. Learning Development

2.1. Undertake research as part of the curriculum development for programmes.

2.2. Review training syllabus and standards as and when necessary.

2.3. Update training materials regularly based on standards and guidelines.

2.4. Identify potential areas for training and its development.


3. Any Other Duties

3.1. Perform basic office duties.

3.2. To fulfill and maintain compliance to the PDPA requirements.

3.3. To fulfill and maintain compliance to the SRFAC requirements.

3.4. To fulfill and maintain compliance to the ISO 29993:2017 requirements.

3.5. To fulfil or contribute towards attaining the ISO 29993 objectives.


JOB SPECIFICATION

4. General Qualities and Qualifications of Applicants

4.1. Recognised Diploma in any discipline, preferably with more than 3 years experience in health-related study or a relevant trade qualification (e.g. nurse or paramedic qualification).

4.2. Possess ACTA/ACLP qualification.

4.3. Possess a valid SRFAC Child and/or Standard First Aid Chief Instructor.

4.4. Possess a valid SRFAC Basic Cardiac Life Support + AED Chief Instructor.

4.5. Possess a valid qualified Occupational First Aid Instructor with the MOM.

4.6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

4.7. Able to work independently without much supervision.

4.8. Prepared to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment, including weekends occasionally.


5. Working Hours

5.1. Monday to Friday: 9.00am to 6.00pm (1-hour lunch break)

5.2. Time-Offs: If scheduled to work on weekends, appropriate time-offs will be given to rest on weekdays.
