- Teaching all areas of the Primary Cambridge curriculum preferably Year 1 or Year 2.
- Willing to be given other primary grade level classes to teach.
- Will sit as an Advisory Teacher for Grade 2 as well as a Subject Teacher for other grade levels.
- Dynamic and able to teach with mastery in Cambridge/IB curriculum (mastery in English, Mathematics, & Science modules)
- Mark daily and monthly class attendance and update in the student management system.
- Taking responsibility for the progress of a class of primary-age students.
- Organising the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment.
- Planning, preparing, and presenting differentiated lessons that cater the needs of the whole ability range within their class.
- Motivating students with enthusiastic, imaginative class activities.
- Preparing, marking, and providing feedback to facilitate positive student development.
- Meeting requirements for the assessment. Records, evaluates, and reports student’s development.
- Providing feedback to parents on students progress.
Working collaboratively with others to plan and coordinate work.
Organising and taking part for school events, outings, and activities. - Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties as and when required.
Requirements:
- Possess a minimum educational certificate in Bachelor’s Degree in Education/Teaching or equivalent.
- At least 3 year(s) of relevant teaching experience international schools in Singapore.
- Preferred Cambridge Certification Qualification ie., CICTL or CIDTL.
- Exposure in other international curriculum such as Cambridge/IB PYP MYP DIP/IGCSE would be an added advantage.
- Who can teach and conversant with Hindi or Tamil or French as second languages would also be an added advantage. Most of the students learn Hindi & Tamil or French as their second language subject.
Teacher Welfare:
- Works only 5 days a week from 9AM to 3:30PM. Wed - 5:30PM
