Project description
You will be designing an employee-facing web portal that is used to support HR operations. This centralized platform simplifies the on boarding and off boarding processes for new employees within the organization. The portal will automate and streamline various tasks, such as documentation collection, task management, and communication, to provide a seamless and efficient transition for employees.
What a typical work week would look like
• Understanding user needs through user research
• Designing wireframes to try out different design approaches
• Collaborating with the product team and development team to ensure that the designed experience aligns with product strategy and is technically feasible
• Designing high-fidelity wireframes to handover to developers
• Creating detailed user interface documentation
• Working together with the development team to implement your designs
This is a hybrid role. You will be working in the office on designated days.
We are looking for someone that has:
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver digital products. Ideally, you should have at least 3 years of experience in delivering UX projects.
• Experience delivering web-based designs. You need to be comfortable designing web based products. This means that you are familiar with web-based components, interactions, and design considerations (e.g. responsiveness).
• Ability to work independently. You are comfortable with design processes. You can scope and prioritize design tasks for yourself and deliver them effectively with minimal supervision.
• Good visual design sense. You are capable of creating designs that are grounded in visual design principles.
• Proficient in design tools. You need to know how to use Figma. Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JS is a plus.
