Responsibilities
Cultural Evolution and Business Transformation
- Provide organizational design and change management leadership to navigate the rapidly changing workplace environment.
- Lead organization change in unison with the regional leadership team and sector management in alignment with the Company’s core values.
- Lead region-wide communications processes to deliver consistent messages and underscore the sector and Marmon culture and values.
Talent Management
- Embed quarterly talent review process across the region.
- Lead the development of growth plans for workforce.
- Ensure various learning methods are applied to accelerate development of talent (e.g. mentorships, certifications, internal development programs, etc).
- Become a steward and facilitator of Marmon’s key HR programs (e.g. Targeted Selection, Leadership Essentials, Leader As Coach, etc.).
Recruiting, Employee Development and Talent Retention
- Evaluate recruitment strategies and develop creative, responsive staffing processes to meet the demanding, ongoing needs of the organization.
- Work with regional leadership and Sector HR to develop and deploy training and skills development programs to support critical organizational skill and succession gaps.
- Implement individual development plans for high-potential employees, emerging leaders, and underperforming employees. This should be in concert with the Marmon Leadership Competencies
Policy Development and Implementation
- Lead, assess and manage the human resources strategy, policies, systems and practices in compensation and benefits, employee relations, training, communications, and compliance.
- Ensure all practices are aligned with the greater Sector and Corporate requirements and are implemented with consistency across the regions operating entities.
- Ensure the compliance of the Sector performance management and termination process, including exit interviewing.
- Assist regional leadership with handling employee performance improvement plans and ensuring terminations, when necessary, are handled consistent with Marmon policies, legal requirements, and ethical treatment.
Qualifications
- BSc/MSc in Human Resources, Strategic Management, Organizational Psychology, or relevant field
- Professional human resources certification preferred.
- Working knowledge with enterprise learning management systems such as Workday.
- Prior experience with direct human resources responsibility across an APAC territory with good understanding of labor legislation.
- Ability to communicate proficiently in English and Chinese
- Proven experience in all areas of human resources with a strong focus on cultural development, talent management, organizational effectiveness, and training and organizational development.
- Possess a solid business, analytical and process-oriented approach to human resources that positions human capital solutions in business terms.
- Flexible, adaptable style; comfortable navigating through ambiguity.
- Other duties as assigned.
