What you will do:
As a Commercial Operations Manager, you will Supervises the execution of small projects. Serves as primary on-site project leader, following standardized project management procedures. Uses standard tracking tools to report project progress. Evaluates project costs and progress against budget and plan.

- Driving Commercial Excellence/Results:
- Work with the management to develop/oversee a smooth & effective sales forecasting process to enable the growth of cavAsia in both SG and MY.
- Track and analyze key metrics including pipeline generation/growth, forecast accuracy, win/loss rates, sales productivity and quota attainment.
- Internal Process Improvements & Monitoring - Ownership and in-depth review of current business/operation processes to identify gaps and provide related recommendations /enhancements.
- Drive P&L and Commercial Operations – Work closely with the project teams and Project Cost Controller to regular monitoring and tracking P&L related items such as:
- Project Cost forecast and execution – monthly cadence by working with respective PMs to get the COGS forecast for the month. Review and formulate mitigation plan if fail to meet Revenue/GM target.
- Manage project cashflow, AR and Unbilled Revenue figures to meet target. Support AR by talking to client where necessary to chase payments for overdue invoices. Payment Requisition Form issuance against PO issue. Monitor and follow up with Procurement for timely PO issuance, especially for urgent PO.
- Co-ordinate with finance and AP team to ensure on time payment to Vendors. Monitor IBC reports to ensure issues are resolved on time.
- Weekly meeting with Project Admin to track MIGO status and outstanding issues in FS2 & IBC reports. Subcon/Vendor due invoices must be paid on time as per JCI payment cycle.
- Project Admin – Lead, Monitor & manage the Project Admin team to ensure SAP MIGO, PRF and GPR are completed on time.
- CIS Booking – Major Project VOs. In charge of CIS for major project VO booking and work with Sales Admin to book into SAP.
- Integration – Lead & ensure smooth and timely integration into JCI system. Co-ordination with other departments/stake holders to improve and ensure effective workflow.
- Business Development and Strategy – Partner with in-country leaders to assist developing company/region go to market business strategies in order to drive profitable growth (both short & long term). Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market/business development activities.
- Special Projects - Ad-hoc projects based on management needs.
What we look for:
- Bachelor’s degree in in Business, Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in Construction sector with increasing level of responsibilities within an MNC. Prior experience with SAP a plus.
- Strong business partnering/interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and work within a multi-discipline team with shared purposes. Prior experience in leading individuals to work as an effective team a plus.
- Possess advanced analytical and objective critical thinking skills with the ability to effectively balance financial and operational needs in order to deliver timely and appropriate solutions to complex business issues.
- Ability to develop/review/drive/enhance business model/processes and track progress/realizations accordingly.
- A high degree of proactivity, creativity and latitude is expected.
