We are looking out for a Cyber Security Operations Engineer; you will play a critical role in ensuring the security of our organization's information assets. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, provide guidance to IT functional units, and contribute to the implementation of security policies and processes. Your expertise will help identify security gaps, develop remediation plans, and support the organization in achieving a strong security posture.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support internal and external stakeholders on information security requirements.
- Provide advisory and technical consultancy to IT functional units and technical teams in implementing security policies and processes.
- Identify security gaps and work out remediation and mitigation plans.
- Communicate and facilitate forum discussions with the cybersecurity support group to align and achieve information security goals.
- Provide regular updates and communications to management and key stakeholders regarding the cybersecurity status.
- Assist in sourcing and implementing security initiatives and programs to enhance the organization's security posture.
Job Requirement:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or an equivalent field.
- Preferably 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of products, platforms, and services within cloud infrastructure, with expertise in a particular vendor's environment (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Alibaba Cloud, Google Cloud).
- Certifications are encouraged and demonstrate continuous learning and standard methodologies applicable to this role. Preferred certifications include ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or any related certification related to IT infrastructure and cloud security.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills and strong multi-tasking capability to handle various security-related tasks simultaneously.
- A dynamic individual with a positive working attitude who can work both independently and as part of a team.
