We are partnering with a global manufacturing company who are looking to hire an experienced Senior IT Infra & Ops Manager role.
Responsibilities:
- Highly skilled leader with expertise in I.T. leadership, personnel management, project leadership, support guidance, finance, and strategy development.
- Proficient in Server infrastructure, Unix platforms, Oracle database operations, Virtualization, Desktop Hardware/Software, and Networking technologies in a 24/7 environment.
- Responsible for managing an enterprise-wide organization with sub-departments and team members.
- Focus on operational initiatives, long-term strategic decisions, team development, and growth potential for internal employees.
- Develop and maintain IT strategy aligned with the global plan.
- Manage a team of highly skilled employees across the enterprise.
- Evaluate new and innovative I.T. solutions.
- Translate business requirements into system solutions.
- Guide designs, configurations, and implementations of I.T. systems.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend software, hardware, and cloud technologies.
Requirements:
- 10 + years managing a technical I.T. team responsible for infrastructure and operations.
- System and application administration in an Oracle/Unix platform.
- System support for client/server hardware platforms.
- String experience in application/system technologies.
- Strong knowledge of business finance concepts and their application in information technology.
- Strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Track record of managing large and complex IT projects.
