- This QA tester role requires experience in functional testing with both manual and automated modes of testing. Specific to the functional testing area, the QA tester should be conversant in creating test scenarios and test cases from the given requirements. The QA tester should be able to translate test scenarios and test cases into manual execution as well as automation execution. The QA tester should be familiar with the concept of agile and waterfall methodology and should have experience in either one of them. The QA tester should have a good attitude in learning new things, be composed under tight pressure and have the hunger to strive for on-going innovation in the testing process and tool.
- Translate requirements into test scenarios and test cases
- Liaise with key stakeholders to confirm on the test coverage
- Getting sign-off for all test deliverables to close off the testing cycle
- Execute manual and automation test cases
- Point of contact of the QA related matters and inquiries for the project
- Lead the discussions during QA activities such as test coverage walkthrough, SIT/UAT execution
- Assist PM to formulate QA strategy for the project as necessary
- Diploma in Computer Science or Testing or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in QA
- Experience in working with stakeholders, conducting architecture reviews, and consensus-building
- Knowledge in CI/CD pipeline tools such as Ship & Hat would be an added advantage
- Thirsty for knowledge and keen to explore new technologies
- Excellent communication skills and strong analytical and conceptual skill
- Knowledge in agile and waterfall methodology
- Experience in using JIRA and SharePoint
