Tasks:
- Ensure all system generated POs are promptly acted on and issued to identified/qualified suppliers
- Follow up and ensure the procurement of material according to defined approved suppliers list
- Accountable for all material and goods transactions including filing and documentation for traceability
- Supplier invoice and documents verification
- Point of contact to suppliers for goods return/ reverse process
- Maintain and ensure data integrity of Item List / Material List for all materials as required
- Close collaboration with stakeholders to problem solve and facilitate all purchasing related topics
- Support the project team in fulfilling on time delivery focusing on full spectrum of order fulfillment functions for local and overseas markets
- Monitoring of supplier performance for benchmarking
- Generating and compiling of reports to support management decision
- Develop strategy together with Strategic Purchasing, Quality Management and all relevant Stakeholders to improve key suppliers’ performance
- Regular review and update on the purchasing processes to make sure team follow standards and provide high quality work
- Support and constantly review/ improve on the material management process to ensure material availability according to pre-defined level
- Analyze purchasing data in supporting and mitigating risks for the business and order fulfilment
- Monitor running stock inventory, regular review on the adequacy in terms of business needs vs costs management
- Support the Team Leader, SCM in ensuring the support of Operative Purchasing roles and functions
- Key User for purchasing topics (Senior)
Qualifications:
- Good knowledge of purchasing and supply chain functions
- Proficient in SAP R3 or similar ERP in Purchasing modules
- Experience in Strategic Goods Documentation and control
- Customer oriented focus and mindset
- Self-starter and possess initiative in achieving results, in the best interest of the company
- Possess excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A good team player who is keen in learning and able to work well with various levels of seniority
- Those with relevant experience may be considered for more senior position
