Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and launching of public relation programmes
- Dealing, handling and resolving of conflicts, feedback, complaints pertaining to the PUB Rehab project
- Following up with the Clients, Consultants and Contractor staffs on actions to be taken in advance prior to the works planned to be carryout
- Initiating dialogue with property owners, management corporations, Resident Committees, Citizens’ Consultative Committees, Town Councils and other relevant parties as directed by the S.O.
- Conducting regular visits (daily or as instructed by the S.O.) and ad-hoc visits to residents affected by the works to gather feedback and update them on the work schedule changes and other issues
- Proceed to site upon activation, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week throughout the contract period to deal with public relation matters. No payment shall be made for attending to the feedback. In this regard, the PRO shall be equipped with mobile phone with contact numbers published. The Contractor shall also assign at least one more senior management person as alternate contact person in place of the PRO should the latter be not contactable. The alternate person shall be approved by the S.O.
- Maintaining and regularly updating a PR Database recording all PR Letters served, contact details, engagements with owners or owner’s representatives, all visits to the premises, follow up actions, etc.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field and experienced in the field of public relations and possess appropriate qualifications.
- Experience in PUB Rehab (CIPP Lining for Drain Lines) projects are most preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Candidates should be available 24/7 to respond in case of emergency situations.
- Preference will be given to candidates who possess a Class 3 driver's license and own a car. The salary includes car ownership and fuel costs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Singaporean citizenship or valid work permit/visa to work in Singapore.
- Proficiency in additional languages, such as Mandarin, Malay, or Tamil, is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, if required.
- Self-motivated and proactive in taking initiatives.
