Senior Manager/Manager, Finance

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of staff to ensure smooth running of the full spectrum of financial accounting for a portfolio of entities.
  • Manage all aspects of finance including financial reporting, management reporting, regulatory reporting, audit, tax compliance, cashflow management.
  • Ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with relevant accounting standards, internal policies and statutory/ regulatory/tax requirements.
  • Develop Finance’s policies and practices and review the department’s processes periodically to identify areas of improvements. Ensure that an appropriate financial policy framework is in place.
  • Plan, coordinate and prepare cost forecasts, annual budget.
  • Business Partnering with key stakeholders in driving growth for the business and providing guidance on all finance related matters.
  • Key lead in system enhancement and any other system implementations.
  • Support any ad-hoc projects as may be assigned from time to time.


Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience (at least 2 years in a managerial position), with some years working in Big 4 CPA firms. Experience in real estate (retail and hotel) industry preferred.
  • Candidates with more years of relevant experience may be considered for the Senior Manager position.
  • In-depth knowledge and application of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and its related technical areas.
  • Ability to understand and analyse financial data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to details and a good team player.
  • Strong planning, project management and time management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organised and able to work within tight deadlines with minimum supervision.
  • Comfortable in presenting to senior management.
