Your strong leadership leading the business development of Technology and Engineering across Asia Pacific, and manage the assigned sales representative office and establishment of engineering hubs of assigned countries, through strategic direction, clear objectives, organization design, and development to bring forth consistent implementation towards business growth and delivering collective success in Asia Pacific and SICK Group's success.


Empower Your Potential / Responsibilities:

  • Align with global, lead and build the establishment of Engineering Hubs
  • Develop the Technology and Engineering across Asia Pacific
  • To ensure structure in the sales, technical support processes and organization with the target to have a sustainable successful positioning in the market.
  • To develop and implement of effective strategies to align organization's effort in meeting business goals and objectives and create values for stakeholders and employees
  • To improve subsidiary performance in order to achieve budget values, long-term objectives in respect of financial targets, quality targets, market share targets, customer satisfaction measured by P&L, Balance sheet, individual KPI, customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other Managing Directors on business opportunities, and resource sharing to achieve order intake targets and project executions with high quality and efficiency
  • Build up and grow local teams with technical delivery and project management capabilities in conjunction with regional/global domain experts/leaders as part of people strategy and business (APAC) growth
  • To lead exemplarily and instill SICK’s principle of leadership and cooperation in the entrusted subsidiary, nurturing culture that create a top tier "Great Place to Work" environment where employees remain positively engaged & empowered and feel a deep sense of accomplishment and attachment to SICK
  • To ensure compliance with legal legislation and corporate guidelines/standard and promote good social responsibility
  • Representative of SICK externally

Bring Your Knowledge/ Qualifications, Experiences & Expertise:

  • Degree or Master in Business Administration or Engineering
  • Solid track record in General Management or Sales & Marketing positions with clear P&L or budget responsibility in industrial companies, preferably machinery, assembly, or logistics companies.
  • Strategic and innovative with an external awareness to adapt to market transitions and understand the nuances of selling complex solutions.
  • Proven success as a collaborative leader across a network organization
  • Experience in hands-on people management and track record in building the next-level leaders
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategies, business plans and targets.
  • A tireless, high-energy professional with an entrepreneurial, risk-taking flair and will possess a brand of confidence, which allows for delegation and empowerment of the team.
  • Strong analytical & critical thinking skills with the ability to influence and manage change & conflicts
  • Adept at balancing intense short-term pressures with overall long-term goals.
  • Good understanding of key levers driving the bottom line in a P&L statement
  • Unpretentious, with excellent social and communication skills
  • Good Emotional Intelligence (EI)
