Job Description
Team Summary
Card Design & Innovation is part of Visa’s Asia Pacific Consumer Brand Marketing Services. The team focuses on elevating and protecting the way the Visa brand is experienced in cards and other form factors, to drive greater brand presence and preference, ensuring its strength and viability for the future.
What a Card Design & Innovation Manager does at Visa:
This role will focus on three main areas;
1. Optimize brand presence on form factors in physical and digital environments
- Provide direction, guidance and education of the brand standards governing the design of cards and other form factors to internal and external stakeholders, and manage the governance process
- Responsible for brand stewardship for financial institution/ merchant co-branded card programs
- Identify opportunities to drive operational efficiency and productivity
2. Drive form factor innovations as brand proof points in support of Visa’s multi-year brand transformation
- Assist to establish partnerships and convert opportunities to launch form factor innovations that position Visa as a purpose-driven brand
3. Grow revenue and margin with Marketing Value-Added Service
- Lead card design advisory service delivery for designated markets/ clients
Responsibilities
- Educate internal stakeholders, Visa clients and card vendors on the Visa Product Brand Standards governing the design of form factors
- Manage the review of and inquiries on physical and digital form factor designs within established service level agreements
- Propose thought insights into form factor design to support the business objectives of Visa clients
- Establish partnerships and convert opportunities to use form factor innovations as brand proof points
- Review and categorize affinity cobrand partnerships proposed by financial institutions to ensure brand and reputational fit
- Identify opportunities for operational process and system enhancements and work with internal stakeholders to develop and execute changes
- Partner with country marketers to solicit, scope and execute value-added card design advisory services for designated markets/ clients
- Assist with ad hoc projects as needed

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a solutions-oriented mindset, strong project management and communications skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be adept in working within all levels of the organization and across geographies. The candidate should enjoy solving complex problems by first researching and then involving cross-functional key stakeholders to come to a resolution.
Experience
- At least 6 – 8 years’ experience in a brand marketing operations role in a matrixed global organization
- A degree in a related-discipline
- Results-oriented with strong analytical skills and demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with proven ability to influence and build consensus across a broad set of constituencies
- Strong organizational and presentation skills, able to prioritize and manage multiple projects at a time
- Self-starter, solutions-oriented, meticulous, systematic and independent thinker, comfortable working in a fast paced, hands-on, outcome-orientated work environment
- Exhibit intellectual curiosity and strive to continually learn
