Responsibilities-
- Creating and maintaining various technical documents, like user manuals, product guides, installation instructions, API docs, and release notes.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts, developers, project managers, and stakeholders to gather and convey technical concepts.
- Evaluating products for accurate documentation and aligning releases with product schedules.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and addressing feedback.
Skills required -
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science, or another related field.
- 5-8 years of experience as a Technical Writer with a portfolio of successful projects.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Quick grasp of complex technical concepts.
- Proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Confluence).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
- Adaptable writing style for different audiences and contexts.
