GENERAL FUNCTION
Responsible for managing client and ensure projects are delivered within budget, meeting deadline/schedule, safety and quality standards in compliance with client’s contract.
TASKS
Technical
- Raise safety awareness at site and ensure a safe working environment
- Read and understand all the content, scope of supply, obligations in the contract
- Lead and manage subordinates to perform job tasks effectively (meeting quality, agreed time line & within budgeted cost)
- Lead and execute project & service Jobs within budget, meeting dateline/schedule, safety and quality standards in compliance with client’s contract
- Lead the kick of meeting and work on the approved budget & proposal.
- Respond promptly to troubleshoot system abnormality
- Maintain good rapport and close relationship with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure smooth and efficient implementation to project, liaise with procurement and logistic on equipment, sub-contractor arrangement, participate in the selection of sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Assist, schedule and manage manpower coverage across assigned sites
- Participate and contribute in sales projects, consumables and service support
- Being on-call 24/7 to respond to emergency cases
Management
- Provide regular project progress reports/ update to customers, internal departments and commercial reports to management.
- Manage and supervise a team of engineers and internal resources allocated, prepare training manuals and train operators as and when required, act as a Project Manager for the assigned project(s).
Safety
- Apply the Safety procedures for operations bound to their activities
- Risk Assessment for Jobs or project assigned
- Oversee the compliance of site safety
Quality
- Ensure that the project and subcontractors meets the quality standards expected by the client, report non-compliance to the project manager, work towards minimizing defects.
