Operations Officer
Responsibilities
- Liaised with customer, shipping line and contractor for issues pertaining to shipments movement, space booking, and cargo monitors.
- Receive and check documentation from customer and inform shipment status to customers.
- Prepare documentation according to instructions, monitor the cargo and make sure the delivery on time through the sea freight mode.
- Booking with shipping line and handling shipment to various port and co-ordinate for loading of container.
- Preparation of Bill of Lading and all related documents.
- Process custom permit, declarations and shipping documents.
- Performed billing and invoicing functions.
Requirements
- Min Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain.
- Min 3 years of relevant experience in sea freight operations.
- Knowledge of Matchbox, Portnet and TradeNet declarations will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Ocean Export and Import operations.
