Responsibilities:
- Update, maintain and implement Risk and Compliance policies and procedures (including those relating to AML/CFT) to ensure the CMS-licensed entity is compliant with its regulatory obligations.
- Providing compliance and risk management advice to business units in the interpretation and implementation of compliance requirements.
- Acting as the contact person for communications with the regulators/internal auditors.
- Prepare timely reports to management, MAS and other relevant regulatory bodies
- Keeping abreast of key regulatory changes and notifying relevant business divisions of such changes.
Requirements
- A recognised degree from a reputable institution.
- At least 5 years working experience as a compliance manager advising licensed financial institutions in Singapore.
- Strong knowledge of the CMS (Capital Markets Services) license operations and its legal and regulatory context.
