Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Perform supply and trading in jet fuel to maximize P & L within delegated authorities. This will include but not limited to following activities: Jet fuel physical trading activities and Jet Fuel derivative and hedging activities;
2. Keep track record of daily jet supply physical and paper trades, submit hedging applications via OA, and publish daily/monthly hedging ledger; regularly reconcile with Risk Management Department on jet book’s paper—physical matching and mark-to-market P&L calculation; regularly liaise with internal and external auditors to meet their audit check requirements;
3. Ensure compliance with all applicable internal policies (trading guidelines, ethics, control, HSSE and ship vetting policies etc) and countries laws and regulations and external laws & regulations at all times;
4. Be an effectively team member, and actively seek ways to grow and expand the Company’s activities consistent with the corporate strategy;
5. Any other related works assigned by HOD or DHOD.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor in Chemical Engineering/ Business Management/ related field or equivalent;
2. Min. 3 years trading experience (physical and derivatives) in jet or gasoil trading and good knowledge in trading analysis, risk management, operations/logistics;
3. Hands-on and execution-focused attitude and able to work independently with minimum supervision;
4. Willingness to work in a challenging, fast paced environment and to adapt to situations as they arise;
5. Good ethics and professional conduct, and with strong sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit;
6. Good organisational, time management skills and stress tolerance with proven ability to manage multiple priorities;
7. Effectively bilingual in both English and Mandarin (as the position needs to frequently communicate with English/Chinese speaking associates verbally/ in writing whenever appropriate).
