Integrated Client Lead/Partner

As the Integrated Client Partner/Lead you are known as the Strategic Advisor for your client (s) portfolio. You are the consultant or partner who develops, delivers and realises effective business outcomes through deeply understanding the company vision, purpose and strategy to drive holistic business outcomes including creativity, technology, data & analytics and marketing holistically. You have the strategic relationship, deeply understanding the client model and the specific channels to grow to enable successful revenue growth.


The Integrated Client Partner/Lead for the respective client(s) is directly responsible for the end-to-end delivery of client work across all dentsu brands across the region.


This includes:

· As an ambassador of collaboration, you create a results focused culture for a team that comes from a mix of brands with one focus – to help the client win.

· Seamless integration of capability delivering exceptional business outcomes for the client.

· Identify / integrate new capability that allows the client to deliver stronger results and maximize the impact of their marketing investment and effort.

· Leverage the strong and long-standing dentsu relationship to drive greater connection of services and results for the client.

· Accountability for the revenue and profit growth across capabilities.

· Partner on the business planning or business transformation and business performance reviews and champion the vision and values of the business to create a high achievement and innovative culture where employees can learn and deliver their best work.


This role requires a visionary architect who can build and execute, with effective communication skills. You are a commercial leader with a primary focus on the client and how to leverage the right capability to solve client problems. Must have strong influencing skills, stakeholder and change management capabilities. Ideally has led a complex integrated client regionally or globally. You are a dentsu culture champion in how you interact with our client (s), our partner (s) and society all through empowering teaming innovation.


Key Accountabilities

Work with a range of dentsu brands to develop the strategic vision for the client and our strategic relationship with dentsu. As a visionary commercial leader, you realise maximum business value across an entire lifecycle. You continuously focus on transforming the account (s), demonstrating high revenue success for the client and dentsu.


· Work across dentsu teams to deliver on that vision and promise.

· Responsible for integrated P&L – both revenue and profit growth.

· Educate, influence and interact with dentsu business leaders regularly.

· Understand clients business challenges within a larger business context and able to engage them on issues and opportunities well outside the current scope of the relationship.

· Ambassador of collaboration. This individual lives and breathes the values of both dentsu and the client ambitions.

· Energizes and inspires by communicating a compelling client vision, actively manages the development of team members, and promotes diversity and inclusion.

· Financially astute and operationally savvy consultant. Leads with cultural sensitivity and understanding to operate effectively and efficiently in different businesses and markets.

· Embodies credibility and confidence to lead senior colleagues and is able to strike an appropriate balance between having responsibility for finding solutions and maintaining trust/alignment with stakeholders and other colleagues.

· Highly experienced in the delivery of regional & global marketing services. This includes identifying resources and capabilities within dentsu that can be offered to clients as a business solution balanced by effective business development with a continued focus on financial growth.

· With a client growth drive, able to architect a fit for purpose models that creates necessary conditions for identifying and capturing new opportunities to expand the account, identifying new revenue opportunities.

· Effectively communicates the strategic importance of a range of projects running across the client account and creating commercial business cases to continuously operationalise the strategic planning and overall success of initiatives and investments.

· Proactively monitor business performance & operating results against plans and objectives, taking adequate steps to correct shortfalls in performance where applicable in partnership with the operations lead.

· Proactively partner with functional leaders to monitor the health of the business operations as it relates to client loyalty, service, operations, relationship management, contracting, compliance and training.

· Act as a role model across our matrix business to ensure clear roles and responsibilities exist and enable smooth collaboration between disciplines, functions and dentsu brands.

· Promote the business effectively internally and externally and encourage and lead the client community to be active in the industry.

· Navigates the complexity of the client (s) to have the best opportunity for success in winning/retaining continuously strengthening the account (s) by delivering innovative strategies that differentiate the dentsu proposition.


Professional Skills

· Experience leading a complex regional or global client with multiple SOW’s.

· A well organized and self-directed individual who is a team player

· Experienced marketing & commercial leader who has worked with iconic global (or regional) brands / companies.

· Highly tuned client leadership capabilities, able to develop and grow strong relationships with senior key clients and quickly gain traction, credibility, trust and demonstrate value. Seen as an extension of the clients’ team.

· Understanding of how to work with teams and clients concurrently and align them behind a clear purpose and vision of success. An ability to manage and connect with different types of people at different levels at scale.

· Ability to co-design new commercial models to ensure great outcomes for clients and denstu

· Proven track record, demonstrating discipline and commercial strength.

· Strategic change management experience or business transformation.

· Fully versed in leading change in complex organizations and implementing new operating models spanning across multiple marketing disciplines.

· A decisive individual who possesses a “big picture” perspective

· Understands how to deliver in a way that motivates and drives high performance

· 15+ years leading and driving growth and team

· Multi market APAC knowledge and/or second language requirements are preferred.

· You have a visionary (creative) mindset, you have a strategic and service mindset and intrinsically connected to the client (s).


Role Success Measures

· Increase in revenue and profit growth of the client(s) through the integrated P&L.

· Cross service line Penetration increase, leveraging integrated solutions

· The overall client satisfaction (i.e., TRR) rating increase for the account.

· Increased quality of strategic client relationship through stronger ability to understand the client model and the specific channels to grow to enable successful revenue growth.

· Key enabler to new logo pipeline growth.

· Increased conversion rate on big deals linked to the client(s) to enhance integrated solutions.
