As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in presenting and promoting utu’s products and services, cultivating strong client relationships and growing the business.
About the Role
Business Development:
• Identify and engage with potential clients to proactively generate sales leads and exceed sales targets.
• Be able to present and effectively communicate the unique value proposition of utu’s
innovative products and services.
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging opportunities and
industry trends.
• Develop and implement robust sales strategies to optimize revenue growth and expand utu’s market share.
• Foster a strong pipeline of prospective clients through strategic networking, relationship
management, and targeted outreach initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their specific needs, skilfully negotiate
contracts, and secure mutually beneficial agreements.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of contractual terms and conditions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to corporate policies and legal standards.
• Promptly address and resolve any client concerns or issues, maintaining an unwavering
commitment to client satisfaction and retention.
Relationship Management:
• Provide exceptional customer service and support, demonstrating a deep understanding of
client requirements.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, leveraging expert industry knowledge to provide strategic guidance and maximize on partnership gains.
• Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional internal teams, such as marketing, to ensure
seamless client service delivery and exceed client expectations.
Preferred Experiences & Skills
• +4 years of sales experience within the Singapore market, ideally within luxury,
airline, or travel technology sectors.
• Demonstrable expertise in in luxury retail or travel would be highly advantageous.
• Proven track record of consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets, driving business
growth, and building a strong client base.
• Strong negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to close deals successfully and forge
mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, enabling effective communication of utu’s
value proposition to diverse audiences.
• Results-driven mindset with a self-motivated and proactive approach to achieving targets and exceeding expectations.
• Outstanding relationship management skills, with the ability to build and nurture long-term
client connections based on trust and mutual benefit.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and possesses exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
