VFlowTech is involved in the design, development and deployment of Advanced Energy Storage Systems and Microgrids based on Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries (VRFB) and Lithium-ion Battery (LFP type).
For Selection and Testing Power Conversion Systems (PCS):
- Sourcing and testing PCS with microgrid functions, grid frequency supporting functions for large energy storage system (ESS).
- Working with PCS partner companies to define, design, and testing suitable PCS for Solar farm, hybrid ESS and EV charging station.
For developing isolated high step-up ratio DC/DC converters
- Define DC/DC requirements, design overall solutions, and architecture.
- Design, implement and testing hardware.
Build microgrid testing platforms for PCS, DC/DC functional, performance, and reliability testing. Responsible for researching industry-related products, standards, and technological trends in microgrid PCS, and continuously provide suggestions and improvements for the company's PCS, DC/DC technology roadmap.
Role Requirements:
- Basic knowledge in power electronics and power converters design, e.g., AC/DC, PFC, DC/DC, DC/AC, LLC and resonant converter.
- Good fundamentals in circuit design, circuit analysis and simulations, analog electronics and synthesis skills.
- Basic understanding of the characteristics of power semiconductors/passives components.
- Good with PCB layout practices for EMI/EMC
- Experience with wideband gap device, e.g., SiC and GaN is preferred.
- Practical and hands-on experience in PCB/PCA development (preferable Altium Designer), schematics design, PCB layout, library environment and PCBA production for product.
- Good interpersonal skills to enable global, cross-cultural, and cross-functional engagements.
