- Perform service and overhaul of Svanehoj supported products including machinery like Reciprocating compressors.
- Supervise yard workers assigned during the repair.
- Organize the repair task on board along with gas engineer.
- Finalize detailed service report after completion of each job.
- Build a good relationship with our customers on-site
- Ensure that the work is executed according to company safety and environmental guidelines and customer procedures.
- Mechanical inspection and repair of Compressor
- Writing of reports for carried out inspections, repair, service, and overhaul jobs.
- Willingness to carry out mechanical service, repair, and overhaul under extreme pressure.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical/Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Commercial understanding with experience from similar position, preferably from the maritime industry.
- Experience and understanding of Mechanical applications will be preferred, but we will ensure that you will be properly trained in all disciplines before leading projects alone.
- Strong team player who manages to get people working together across functions and locations.
- Experience and understanding of Reciprocating Cargo compressors preferred.
- Able to write detailed technical reports in English.
- Able to travel globally
