Responsibilities :
- Able to interpret engineering drawings, perform quantity take-off and relate works completed against engineering drawings/quantity take off.
- Overseeing the coordination of construction management, capabilities, resources and utilization across the business unit.
- Measure and determine the amount of work done at various stages of project to prepare periodic progress payment claim.
- Able to prepare reports to the management on the cost control of projects.
- Able to liaise & coordinate with different level of personnel such as Main Contractors, Consultants and Client such as architects, etc.
- Coordinates with site team for relevant details required for final measurement.
- Handle progress claims and variation orders.
- Interface and coordinate with Engineering supporting construction activities.
- Ensure that the project is running smoothly in accordance to time line, rules & regulations.
Job Requirement :
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Quantity Surveyor field.
- Knowledge of contract and its structure is an added advantage.
- Min 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction industry.
- Able to work independently in challenging, fast-paced and pressurised environment.
- Team player with right attitude, hardworking and resourceful.
- Well-versed in MS Excel.
