The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are listed as, but not limited to the following:
- Assist Bar Manager in F&B beverage promotions and outlet beverage menu update
- Assist in beverage training schedule and topics to improve beverage knowledge of colleagues
- Well versed with the beverage prices, bottle prices and all beverage policies.
- Plan and present Bar Menu, review beverages selection
- Innovative with mix ingredients to propose new alcoholic and non alcoholic beverage formula
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with garnishing for patrons.
- Assist to make recommendation for alcoholic and non alcoholic beverage (including wine and cocktail) to customers
- Conduct inventory daily at end of day and ensure that all stocks are accounted for
- Ensure all bar equipment is in good working conditions and maintain cleanliness of front and back areas of bar
- Display and maintain a calm, professional and pleasant personality
- Comply with Hotel's standard procedures and policies as well as all food and beverage legal regulations
- Participate in meetings on financial, operational, service and ad hoc issues
- Ensure revenue is maximized and labor costs and expenses are in control
- Monitor volume of business and related labor requirement forecast and control
- Ensure the front and back areas meet standard for cleanliness, proper set up, sufficient supplies and equipment
