Role: Network IT Engineer
Responsibilities
- Technical delivery of IT, Lab, automation hardware systems as required by project teams.
- Planning shopfloor network architecture, networking, and hardware deployment (FW rule, VLAN design)
- C&Q for the infrastructure, network, Panel and IT-OT hardware
- Coordinate with vendors/ suppliers for management, implementation and testing of IT-OT applications.
- Vendor FATs for Hardware/ infrastructure/ IT applications
- Defining project IT application/hardware Scope and requirements
- Generation and Review of IT-OT applications/ hardware design deliverables and BOMs
- Drafting of RFQs for IT-OT applications, hardware and infrastructure projects
- Liaising directly with the suppliers in terms of status of orders and procurement.
- Good understanding of the virtualisation (VMware, hyper V, hyperconvergent) and IT-OT networking.
- Provide training to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong experience in a similar role, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent computer skills, proficient in the use of the following Microsoft tools: Excel, SharePoint, Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience of system/ application management, vendor management, Stakeholder management.
- Able to commence within short notice.
