- Assess and identify patients’ needs to perform targeted therapy interventions
- Prescribe assistive devices and equipment according to patients’ needs
- Collaborate with other professionals in an MDT in the treatment process
- Other daily administrative processes (eg updating treatment / patient’s condition)
- Prepare PT-related budget which includes tracking resource utilisation
- Propose relevant device/equipment if required as part of treatment / clinical intervention (includes seeing through the entire procurement process for new facilities set-up or purchase of equipment) Develop work policies, procedures, and internal controls to optimize resources and improve patients’ experience during the treatment process Work with internal and external partners to roll out a holistic care model
- Assist to lead research and/or quality improvement initiatives to improve PT service delivery
- Empower patients/caregivers/OTA in delivering therapy intervention/follow-up
- Review, manage staff performance, and develop team capabilities which include OJT and/or developing in-service training programs.
Requirements:
- Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised University
- Membership to Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC) with full or restricted practicing license
